Speaker: Dr. Holly Lutze, Ph.D.

Synopsis:

In our current economic times, inventory overload is a key concern. How do our inventory investment and economic cycles relate to each other? How can we intelligently dispose of our slow-moving or dead inventory? Key relationships and solutions do exist, and we'll take a glimpse of both.

Bio:

A native of Oklahoma City, Dr. Lutze received her B.S. in Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management from Oklahoma State University. She then went to Stanford University to obtain both an M.S. in Engineering-Economic Systems and Operations Research and a Ph.D. in Management Science and Engineering.

Following graduation, she and her family moved to Dallas, where she has spent the past five years serving on the faculty in the School of Management at The University of Texas at Dallas. Her specialty areas include operations management and inventory control. She is also the proud mother of a beautiful and exceptional two-year-old daughter named Evelyn.
