Demand Driven MRP

Speaker - Erik Bush, CEO of Demand Driven Technologies

Topic summary:

Demand Driven MRP (DDMRP) was introduced to the market with the publication of Orlicky’s MRP 3rd edition (Ptak and Smith) in the fall of 2011. In the ensuing years the method has continued to progress and evolve into a robust body of knowledge which has spawned a global community of practitioners, adopting companies and software providers.

The presentation will focus on an update and progress report on the Demand Driven movement beginning with the publication of Orlicky’s MRP 3rd edition in the fall of 2011 and progressing with the formation of the Demand Driven Institute and the expansion of its content and the growth of companies adopting the methodology and the results they are achieving.

The presentation will also highlight the lessons learned that we at Demand Driven Technologies have experienced in implementing DDMRP with our clients around the globe. We’ll review a set of client case studies that illustrate the implementation journey of those clients and the results they’ve achieved.
