    Topic: Benefits of Planning Before Implementing a Transportation Management Solution (TMS)

    Speaker:  Ron Abram - Partners with business leaders to improve the performance, profitability, and productivity with the use of technology.

    Ron is an innovator, problem solver, change agent, and administrator.  He enjoys improving products & processes, and helping people to be their best.  He provides value to organizations and businesses by translating key learnings, experiences, and business needs into opportunities to create/improve processes, solutions, and teams.  He leads, mentors, supports, and cares for his people.  He does these things with integrity, humility, competitiveness, and humor.

    Ron served as software engineer at The Dow Chemical Company where he designed, developed, and supported computer aided engineering systems.  He served as Team Lead at Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting) where he managed analyst/developer/tester resources in the design, development, and support of laboratory information management systems, transportation management systems (TMS), and supply chain solutions.  He also served as lead developer, TMS product manager, TMS solution architect, and TM Director at Ryder Systems, Inc. where he managed account/project managers and product specialists in the design, development, and support of transportation management systems and java solutions.  After spending a few years consulting, Ron joined HollyFrontier Corporation where he is currently the Manager of Logistics Systems & Analytics.

    Ron is a member of the Father’s Auxiliary of Jack and Jill of America which allows him to support his wife, his family and the community.  He is a member of New Life Fellowship in Arlington where he volunteers on the Finance and Marriage Teams.  He enjoys tutoring algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and calculus for local churches, family, and friends.  He also likes solving puzzles, especially jigsaw puzzles.
